October 2006 — Company Formation Announced
Martin Asphalt Company is a newly formed division of Martin Product Sales, LLC, a subsidiary of Martin Resource Management Corporation, based in Houston, Texas. Martin
Asphalt Company combines the experience of the former Gulf States Asphalt Co., L.P.; Prime Materials and Supply Corporation; and Martin Product Sales LLC's
asphalt business. The pooled resources include 60 years of providing quality asphalt products and services to the
industry.
Your liquid asphalt products are delivered with a state-of-the-art, computer-controlled, in-line blending system which
efficiently mixes asphalt cements to required specifications every time and produces an extensive product line of
roofing asphalts, all grades of paving and PG Asphalts, vinyl tile and wooden screed adhesives, and precast
concrete joint sealants. Martin Asphalt produces and keeps in inventory a wide variety of water-based asphalt
emulsions. Asphalt emulsions are safer, cleaner and more fuel-efficient than traditional asphalts and are widely
used for cost-saving pavement preservation, construction,
rehabilitation and recycling. Your chip seals,
micro-surfacing, slurry seals, in-place and maintenance mixes, asphalt recycling,
priming and tack coats, erosion and dust control will all benefit from our products.
